A Letter from Our CEO

Dear Friends,

When I founded VelvetHeart.org, my vision was simple yet deeply personal: to create a safe haven of support, hope, and empowerment for women and children facing life’s toughest challenges. Every story of resilience, every act of kindness, and every step forward fuels our mission to bring light where there is struggle.

At VelvetHeart, we believe that change begins with compassion. Together, we are building bridges—connecting those in need with resources, communities, and opportunities to thrive. Whether it’s through emergency assistance, educational programs, or long-term initiatives, our work is guided by the belief that every woman and child deserves dignity, safety, and the chance to build a brighter future.

None of this would be possible without you—our partners, donors, and supporters. Your generosity, trust, and shared belief in our mission are the heartbeat of VelvetHeart. With your help, we can continue to expand our reach, amplify our impact, and turn dreams of stability and hope into reality.

Next year marks a milestone for us as we prepare for our first galas, “Night of Angels,” in Vienna’s historic Rathaus Festsaal and in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills. It is more than a celebration—it is a testament to what we can achieve when hearts come together.

From my heart to yours, thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we are not only changing lives—we are building a legacy of compassion.

With gratitude and hope,
Tamara Fellner

OUR COO

Emil Diaconu founded together with Richard www.socialcity.at. A foundation that focuses on social projects to make living in the city of Vienna better and takes care of people, who fall through the social safety net by political overlooking.

Richard Vrzal started to involve into the foundation Social City politicians and the corporate world to mend the existing gaps. Their current big success is the campaign ‘Fighting loneliness’. Their yearly congress attracts a lot of attention to this topic. They are definitely pioneers in bringing attention where it’s needed.
