VelvetHeart.org – Raising Awareness Campaigns

#GIRLS Too

Women and girls are still underrepresented in many male-dominated fields like tech, science, space exploration, sports, and media. Too often, girls are discouraged from pursuing these paths due to stereotypes, lack of role models, or systemic barriers.

The #GIRLS Too Campaign encourages girls to dream big and believe in their power to lead, innovate, and change the world. With the motto “You dream it, you can do it!”, we create visibility and opportunities for young women to step into fields traditionally dominated by men.

What We Achieve:

  • A mentorship program that pairs successful women with girls for support and guidance.

  • Empowerment workshops and talks to build confidence.

  • A growing community of role models across industries.

  • Long-term cultural impact by normalizing women in leadership and innovation roles.

#BE ME

Gender identity and sexual preferences remain taboo topics in many families and communities. Countless young people still face rejection, loneliness, and discrimination simply for being who they are.

The #BE ME Campaign exists to celebrate individuality and self-love. Our message is clear: “WHO YOU ARE IS BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING!” We want every young person to feel accepted and supported.

What We Achieve:

  • Safe spaces where youth can connect and share without fear.

  • Resources and networks to help cope with rejection.

  • Campaigns that break down stigma around LGBTQ+ identities.

  • A community of hearts that lifts each other up.

#End Isolation and Loneliness

Loneliness and isolation are growing global problems. Long-term isolation doesn’t only affect mental health but also leads to physical health issues. The stigma around admitting loneliness makes it even harder for people to reach out.

The End Isolation Campaign spreads the simple but powerful idea that “A positive impact on someone else’s life begins with a simple Hello or a smile!”

What We Achieve:

  • Information and resources on coping with loneliness.

  • Community events to connect people and create friendships.

  • Awareness initiatives that normalize conversations about isolation.

  • Practical tips for everyday life to fight loneliness and stay connected.

#End Bullying

Bullying is not just “kids being kids.” It has real, damaging effects that can last a lifetime—mentally, emotionally, and even physically. Awareness and prevention are the first steps toward a safer environment for every child.

With the motto “Teasing. Fighting. Bullying. – NO MORE!”, this campaign spreads awareness, educates communities, and provides direct support for those affected.

What We Achieve:

  • Educational workshops in schools about empathy and inclusion.

  • A network of support and resources for kids and families.

  • Social campaigns that destigmatize asking for help.

  • Prevention strategies that reduce bullying incidents.
